MY 1st ON-AIR EXPERIENCE

For my 1st on air radio experience I learned a lot. I learned to come prepared but also be prepared to have to improv or redo your whole show. My CD with 2 of my 3 songs went missing so I had to make a show on the fly. This did not work out t all. I had no clue how songs were and I threw them together, which made me stressed so I couldn't think of what I was going to say which made me frustrated and say words that wouldn't be on a radio program, so I tried to start over, but with a little bit of time I couldn't. So I came back and finished it in skills. From here i was more prepared with a few hours of what i wanted to do. I came in and typed up and script and told AlFred English that if he would like to be apart of the show i would enjoy that. From here everything was simple, AlFred and I sat in the studio and i went to work. I had a lot of fun and my words came out a lot easier. For my music  I ended up choosing songs that didn't have an intro so i didn't worry about cueing, I just faded from one song to another. What i would do different next time is get Ryan Gorman(aka 0114, or The RAGE) into my program and him, Al, and I all sit in the studio and make a podcast and just talk like a normal TV show and mabey do an interview with someone and just have fun. I think this would be a fun career to go into for sure, if done with the right people.
